AirSwing

AirSwing is So Sponge’s active product range: dehumidification systems using forced adsorption/desorption cycles, integrated within a ventilated system. Unlike conventional compressor-based dehumidifiers that consume significant energy and rely on fluorinated refrigerant gases (F-gases), AirSwing uses the same patented mesoporous material as the passive AirSponge range, but actively drives the cycles to deliver continuous, controlled dehumidification. The system draws humid air through the material, which captures water vapor, then regenerates the material by expelling moisture to the outside. This modular architecture allows direct integration into existing ventilation systems without major installation modifications. AirSwing is available in three configurations: Compact, a mobile dehumidifier for residential and professional use, Pro, industrial ventilated systems for large-scale HVAC applications, and Inside, a licensing program for HVAC manufacturers seeking to integrate the technology into their own products without F-gas refrigerants.
