Technical Support
We have experimental tools and theoretical models to support you in diagnosing and sizing our anti-condensation solutions.
So Sponge offers R&D and engineering services to support companies facing condensation and humidity control challenges. The team operates a laboratory equipped with a climate chamber capable of simulating extreme conditions: temperatures from -10 °C to 70 °C, relative humidity from 5% to 95%, with temperature ramps of up to 10 °C per minute. Four service categories are available: diagnostics, which assesses condensation risk based on air tightness, external climate, thermal conductivity and system thermal mass; custom sizing, which validates the optimal So Sponge product for specific operating conditions; predictive modeling, which anticipates the hygrothermal behavior of a system before deployment; and in-situ testing, with precision sensor deployment for real-world condition measurements. These services are designed for electronic enclosure manufacturers, storage and logistics operators, and HVAC system integrators seeking to eliminate condensation without resorting to energy-intensive conventional dehumidification.
Equipment
We have a climate-controlled chamber coupled with an air humidifier, enabling us to generate an atmosphere at controlled levels of relative humidity and temperature.
Temperature
-10C to 70C
Relative Humidity
5 to 95%
Temperature Ramp
+/-10C/min max
Chamber Size
560 x 480 x 367 mm
Air-tightness testing. Assessment of condensation risks under specific climatic conditions.
Validation testing of our products under your desired humidity and temperature conditions. Regenerability testing and efficiency monitoring over time.
Based on experimental measurements and the specific properties of your products, we provide a humidity level prediction model.
For small-volume equipment, Diagnostics and Sizing services can be performed in our laboratory. For large enclosures, we can implement on-site testing campaigns using high-precision connected sensors.
Condensation risks depend on many parameters specific to each configuration:
