Desiccant pack lifespan and alternatives

Desiccant packs contain silica beads (or silica gel) capable of absorbing moisture from the air into their pores. Once saturated, these beads can no longer adsorb water, which limits their effectiveness.

Regeneration of desiccant packs

When saturated, silica beads can be regenerated through heat treatment in an oven at 120-130°C for at least one hour. However, this method requires energy and may be impractical.
